"NBA Technologies International" LLC successfully held the ‘Digital Payments Forum’ in Tashkent on October 17

Held with the aim of expanding regional partnerships in digital payment technologies, sharing innovative solutions, and contributing to the development of the sector, this forum became one of the most important events supporting the growth of the digital financial ecosystem in Central Asia.

Within the forum, banks, financial institutions, fintech companies, and technology partners came together to discuss innovations in payment systems, security standards, automation, and the application of artificial intelligence.
Anar Shikhaliev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NBA Technologies International, highlighted the company’s development strategies in recent years, the importance of regional partnerships, and the role the company plays in the digital payments ecosystem.
He also spoke about the future development directions of Azerbaijan’s and the region’s financial technology market, global activities and achievements, public–private sector collaborations, and the leading position of NBA Technologies International in shaping the ‘smart’ payment infrastructure.

During the first technology session of the forum, Roman Ayan (PAX Technology) presented PAX Technology’s next-generation devices to the participants.
He spoke about the innovations PAX has introduced in POS terminals, ATMs, and payment systems, as well as the technological modernizations that enhance the reliability and security of the devices.
Later, Roman Ayan introduced PAX Technology’s MAXSTORE management platform. This system is designed for centralized management of payment terminals and equipment, remote software updates, real-time monitoring of device statuses, and automatic generation of operational reports.

Hellen Liu (Sales Manager for Eastern Europe, GRG Banking Equipment (HK) Co., Limited) shared her innovative approaches aimed at transforming the banking sector.
She presented GRG Banking’s ‘smart branch’ concept, which integrates artificial intelligence and automation technologies, and spoke about modern ATMs equipped with biometric identification, contactless operations, and integrated security systems.

Alper Gül, Chief Operating Officer of Paydustry, showcased the advantages of the platform’s API-driven ecosystems, real-time transaction monitoring systems, and white-label payment infrastructure.
He discussed the future of the ‘fintech-as-a-service’ model and explained how this approach accelerates the digital transformation of small and medium-sized businesses.
Alper Gül also highlighted the transformative potential of innovative tax solutions designed for government and fiscal authorities.

Timur Maharramov (Head of Software Development and Installation for Automated Equipment, NBA Technologies International) presented the ‘NBA Pay’ software and highlighted its unique features designed for multivendor systems.
He explained the software’s ability to integrate POS terminals, ATMs, and other payment devices of various brands into a unified management environment.

Artem Russakov (Sales Manager, Toppan) introduced modern solutions for securing online transactions.
He spoke about Toppan’s multi-layer encryption systems, AI-powered fraud detection tools, and biometric authentication for transactions. The presentation emphasized the growing importance of concepts such as ‘data integrity’ and ‘transaction transparency’ in today’s financial sector.
Nikolay Uvarov (Head of Monitoring RDS) presented the innovative tools used in the RDS system for real-time transaction monitoring and early risk detection.
He provided insights into the system’s machine-learning-based analytical algorithms, transaction behavior modeling, and proactive alert modules.
In the final part of the forum, leading partners and innovators of the industry were awarded in special nomination categories.

In his closing remarks, Anar Shikhaliev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed gratitude to all participants and spoke about NBA Technologies International’s future plans, including the expansion of regional collaborations and the strengthening of technological partnerships.
By sharing the technological trends shaping the future of the sector, NBA Technologies International emphasized that it will continue to support the development of a more sustainable, innovative, and integrated payment infrastructure in the region.
